Recently, Korean society have gone through several large social events and accidents. There are mixed opinions concerning such phenomenon: optimistic and still hopeful, versus anxious and tense of the fact that perhaps not much time is left until the catastrophe. Disaster Forum offers a time to question the various signs of disaster, and also to share the different stances and perspectives of a wide variety of fields such as visual arts, literature, film, publishing, aesthetics, psychology and geography, to together rethink about our future.

The design uses a Chinese character that means disaster as a representative image of the Forum. Through applying colors that reflect upon the subject and content of each forum on this image, the design can operate continuously.
